World of Warcraft players is clear that Blizzard seldom does attempt to improve the patching system of World of Warcraft for the past five years, now Blizzard finally take action for this. Their design of a new stop light method for patches in Cataclysm is now testing, this system helps players get back into the game faster on patch days before the entire patch has been downloaded and installed to their system. The new launch for Cataclysm will be changed a little, the progress bar will appear in three different colors just like a stoplight: Red, Yellow, and Green.
SETUP (RED): Core game content is being prepared. You cannot enter the game at this time.
AVAILABLE (YELLOW): Major game content is not completely applied. You can play, but your game experience will not be ideal.
PLAYABLE (GREEN): Final game content is almost complete. You may experience a few game issues with playing at this stage.
Except Red, you will be able to play both the light hits Yellow or Green. Red obviously means stop or don't log in, Yellow is caution, it means the game may appear to be buggy, when the light is Green, it means you are able to get everything done preparing for a raid. Though it seems most wow gold players don't have their driver licenses yet, this does appear to speed things up for patch days.
